Taylor Zajicek

Taylor Zajicek is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of History. His research explores scientific cooperation and environmental management in Cold War Eurasia, with a concentration on the transnational Black Sea region. As a summer fellow, he is cataloguing and tagging a corpus of Soviet posters spanning four decades of anti-poaching, regulatory, and conservation efforts. With this dataset, he will trace the evolving vocabulary and priorities of the Soviet state’s “green” messaging.
