Carrie Ruddick

As Communications Manager, Carrie supports the CDH’s mission through the development and implementation of the center’s communications strategy. Her primary focus is the publicity of the CDH’s work and impact through its incredible breadth of projects, programs, and events. Over the 2024-25 academic year, Carrie is thrilled to launch the CDH’s new website–a year-long redesign project to commence the center’s Tenth Anniversary on the theme of Humanities for AI.

Carrie’s background is in marketing, communications, and the visual arts. Before joining the CDH, she was the Communications Manager at Princeton University School of Architecture, where she supported and promoted the school’s many lectures, exhibitions, conferences, academic programs, and recruitment events from 2019-2023. Her past work also includes digital strategy for several nonprofit and entrepreneurial projects across several industries. As an artist, Carrie regularly exhibits her sculptural work nationally and has been featured in international art platforms and magazines. Carrie has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Professional Visual Arts from Rutgers University and an Associate of Science in Humanities from Ocean County College.
