Call for Nominations: CDH Senior Thesis & Dissertation Prizes

The Center for Digital Humanities is currently accepting nominations for both the Senior Thesis Prize and the Dissertation Prize.

Senior Thesis Prize

The CDH Senior Thesis Prize honors exceptional work that substantially engages with or contributes to the field of digital humanities. Each department is invited to nominate up to two seniors for the award. The deadline for nominations is May 19. More details about nomination requirements are procedures are available on the call for nominations.

Wonder what kinds of projects win the prize? Read about the work of 2022 winner Jessica Lambert ’22 (Anthropology); and of 2021 co-winners Lauren McGrath ’21 (Anthropology) and William Ughetta ’21 (Computer Science), as well as honorable mention Masha Miura ’21 (African American Studies).

Dissertation Prize

The CDH Dissertation Prize recognizes exceptional doctoral work with a digital humanities component by recipients of Princeton PhDs. Faculty may nominate their students, or alumni may self-nominate, provided they can secure a letter of recommendation from a Princeton faculty member. Only those who defended their dissertation between January 1, 2022 and December 31, 2022 are eligible for this year’s prize. The deadline is June 1.
