Announcing the Humanities Data Teaching Fellowship, a new opportunity for Princeton Ph.D. students, supported by the Humanities Council Magic Grants for Innovation!
The three Humanities Data Teaching Fellows will work with the Center for Digital Humanities to develop humanistic course modules for the popular undergraduate course, “Introduction to Data Sciences” (SML 201), offered by the Center for Statistics and Machine Learning. Humanities Data Teaching Fellows will gain insight into basic data visualization and analysis topics covered in SML 201, hone their curriculum development skills, and apply their skills and training as humanists in innovative ways. Fellows will receive a stipend of $5,000 and serve from March to August 2021.
A virtual information session will take place on January 27 at 2 pm (Sign up here). Applications are due on February 12.
You can read more about the program and sign up for the information session on our Humanities Data Teaching Fellows page.
We are looking forward to reviewing your applications!
