I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Hispanic Literary Studies and Linguistics from the Universidad de Guanajuato, Mexico, and a Master’s degree in Hispanic American Literature from El Colegio de San Luis, also in Mexico. My research focuses on Latin American literature and culture with an emphasis on Mexico, the aesthetic avant-garde, and the creation and circulation of literary magazines. I am interested in learning more about metadata acquisition from literary archives and the organization of databases for performing network analyses. I have a beginner’s commandment of Python, SQL, and open-source network analysis tools such as Gephi.
