Gyoonho Kong
Gyoonho Kong is a Ph.D. Candidate in the German department, whose project focuses on games and its cultural effect in Germany. His dissertation investigates the interactive nature of games from both sociological and philosophical standpoints, and how the collective experience induced by the ludic interactivity became an important agent of the German state’s project to build a modern nation during the period of rapid industrialization. Gyoonho is joining the Center for Digital Humanities as a University Administrative Fellow and a member of the New Languages for NLP team.
