University of Antwerp Digital Humanities Summer School 2026 — Computer-assisted genetic editing: from medieval manuscripts to born-digital documents

This summer, Wouter will teach a session on handwritten text recognition and digital scholarly editing at the University of Antwerp’s Digital Humanities Summer School. His session will introduce participants to HTR workflows in Transkribus and eScriptorium, using pages from Arthur Conan Doyle’s manuscript for “The Adventure of the Norwood Builder” as a hands-on case study.
