The Center for Digital Humanities invites Princeton scholars interested in exploring the analytical and technological practices of working with humanities data to apply to join our 2023–24 Data Fellowship cohort.
Fellows learn best practices in humanities data work—collection, structuring, cleaning, transformation, and preservation—with the aim of producing a dataset suitable for computational or exploratory analysis, open-access publication, or future use in research and in undergraduate or graduate courses. Fellows must demonstrate a compelling research motivation for their data work.
Application material should be sent as a single PDF file to cdh-info@princeton.edu by 11:59 pm EST on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 with the subject line “Data Fellowship Application.” Applications will be reviewed by CDH’s Faculty Executive Committee, and by the Seeger Center (if applicable). Notifications will be sent out by April 1, 2023.
