Hannah Stamler
Hannah Stamler is a Ph.D. candidate in History and IHUM, studying the culture and politics of modern Europe. Her research examines changing perceptions of childhood in early 20th-century France, with a particular focus on how new visual media of photography and cinema contributed to the development of pronatalism and familialism. She is also an art critic and regular contributor to Artforum and Art in America. She joins the CDH as a 2020–21 University Administrative Fellow.
