For graduate students in the humanities looking to use computational methods in their research or study the histories, cultures, and theories of information, we’ve made a list of relevant courses for Spring 2023 offered throughout the Inter-University Doctoral Consortium (IUDC). The list includes introductory courses in humanities data analysis and media studies as well as such highlights as “Sonic and Visual Representation of Data” (Columbia), “Archival Theory through Queer/Colonial/State Archives” (NYU), and “Technology and the City: The Architectural Implications of Networked Urban Landscape” (Princeton), among others.
