Join us for an unconventional conversation with media theorists John Durham Peters and Shannon Mattern. Modeled as a cross between new media -- an AMA (‘ask me anything’ event online) -- and old media (scraps of paper with single words pulled from a jar), scholars will talk through a wide range of issues having to do with media theory, the data of language, and the invisible infrastructures of our everyday interactions.

Lunch will be provided. Seating is limited, so RSVPs are required.
