2020 Senior Thesis Prize
The Center for Digital Humanities Senior Thesis Prize honors exceptional work that substantially engages with or contributes to the field of digital humanities. An eligible thesis must make a meaningful intervention into the interdisciplinary area between computer science and the humanities.
Winner:
Alice Xue '20 (Computer Science): "Can a Machine Originate Art? Creating Traditional Chinese Landscape Paintings Using Artificial Intelligence"
Honorable Mention:
Cathleen Kong '20 (Computer Science): "Computerized Visual Analysis for Classifying Chinese Paintings by Dynasty"
2019 Dissertation Prize
The Center for Digital Humanities Dissertation Prize recognizes exceptional doctoral work with a digital humanities component by recipients of Princeton PhDs. Nominees for the 2019 prize must have defended their dissertation (FPO) between January 1, 2019 and December 31, 2019.

Honorable Mention:
Miranda Marraccini *19 (English): "Feminist Types: Reading the Victoria Press"
